This solid walnut cabinet with glass door dates from the late Victorian period about 1880, and is functional for books, a collection or even in a bath area.
The finish is in excellent condition, enhancing richly figured burl panels. Waxed and buffed, all that is needed to maintain its warm antique patina is an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth.
Wavy glass and rosy brass lion head pulls are original on this American made furniture. Interior glass and wood shelves adjust on wooden supports, the door lock still works.
The bottom drawer has dovetailed joints, measurements are 35" wide, 16" deep and 75" tall including the upper gallery.
