A round Victorian dining table from the 1880's was deeply carved of solid walnut, and has six leaves with matching skirts or aprons. The opulent pedestal "splits" to open, a hidden middle leg gives extra support.
Six leaves are 12" wide, side moldings below do not match perfectly because they were carved by hand, see photos. The lustrous finish is in excellent condition.
American made antique furniture, this durable table opens and closes smoothly. There have been various restorations over the years.
Measurements are 48" round when closed and 10' long when all 6 leaves are inserted.
