Signed by famous maker, "Maitland Smith," this spectacular dining table was only used as a sample, and has lavish inlaid banding of satinwood, ebony and tulipwood. The center is matched flame or "cathedral" grain mahogany, and the surface is excellent with tiny irregularities associated with the dramatic flame grain.
There is one 21" wide matching leaf. Large solid mahogany "birdcage" pedestals have brass tips on their feet.
Dimensions are 30" tall, 7' 6" long when closed, 48" wide, and 111" long with the leaf inserted.
