From the Victorian or Eastlake period in the 1870's, this beautiful sideboard or server has a marble top and inlaid ebony marquetry scenes with crane birds and flowers.
Solid walnut with matched burl panels, the finish is in excellent condition. Drawers have hand cut dovetail joints on this American made antique furniture. Delicate incised carving is characteristic of the period. Artistry and superior craftsmanship shows Aesthetic Movement influence. The marble has minor stains and has been polished and sealed for protection, the beveled mirror appears original.
Size is 48" wide, 21" deep, 7' 1" tall and the marble top is 36" high.
