An architect's drafting, drawing or artist table is adjustable in every direction, and a collector tells us this is a Frederick Post "Norseman" model from 1944. The top is later, probably replacing one with lots of pin holes from drawings. Useful for an artist or as an adjustable wine and appetizer table, this rugged antique has industrial charm. The top is maple with a loss at the bottom right corner, see photos. Solid oak, the base is well worn at the edges and feet, see photos. The finish is in excellent condition has iron mounts and adjustment handles. American made office furniture, size of the top is 60" long and 36 1/2" deep. Height is adjustable from 33 - 42" tall when adjusted to the flat position, and can be raised to any angle. See 18 photos on Harp Gallery website that enlarge to full screen size.
