A rugged and comfortable desk armchair from the early 1900's is signed "Johnson of Chicago." Solid quarter sawn oak, this antique library or office furniture is completely restored to serve another generation.
The durable frame is reglued, the finish renewed and ball bearing wheels are new. An original cast iron mechanism has adjustable height and tilt. The curved back, wide arms and sculpted seat are ergonomic.
Measurements are 23" wide, 24" deep, 36" tall and the seat is 20" high as shown, adjustable up and down.
