We have spent the past year & a half restoring a 1908 Victorian home in Brady, Texas, and -- during that time -- have purchased around a dozen antique pieces from Harp Gallery. We have been delighted consistently with everything about the experience. Their antiques are always in very good condition, without being "refurbished" in such a way that would impact the authenticity of the piece. Their prices are quite competitive, especially when one takes into account the quality and condition of the furniture. I find their website very helpful with excellent photos and accurate descriptions, and the "e-commerce" function works simply and flawlessly. Finally, I have to give a shout-out to Dar & Julie, who have delivered all of the furniture to Texas from Wisconsin. They have made at least 4 deliveries now, usually with more than one piece of furniture. They communicate ahead of time to let us know they are coming; they arrive on time; they are courteous, personable, and genuinely helpful; and by the way -- they happily put the furniture in place in the house without damaging the furniture or the house! One a scale of one to five, I would give Harp Gallery at least a six!

You won’t find a more courteous, helpful, or well-stocked antique dealer if you try. I had the pleasure of working with them to replace my dining room set, and picked up a pair of nightstands while I was at it because their inventory is such high quality. When I was mixing and matching chairs, they even offered to take some photos of the different combinations to give me a better look, all within the hour of speaking to them!
