This stellar backbar, sideboard with china or wine cabinets and server was hand carved with grapevine motifs around 1915 in Italy. An engraved brass signature plate reads "Francesco Annovati of Pinerolo," a beautiful Medieval fortress town near Turin in northern Italy.
The marble top, leaded and beveled glass doors, bronze mounts and curved doors are all spectacular. Fruitwood with a beautiful finish, the top right door has a warp as shown. There are minor chips at the edges of the hand leaded panes.
The famous black "Nero Portoro" marble from Italy has been polished and sealed to resist stains. Drawers have dovetailed joints and hand chamfered bottoms on this luxurious antique furniture, which can be disassembled for easier moving.
Overall dimensions are 6' 8" wide, 22" deep and 7' 10" tall.
