A roll top desk from the late Victorian or Eastlake period about 1885 is solid oak with a pull out writing surface.
The restored finish is in excellent condition, preserving a few mars and stains on this American made antique library or office furniture. The tambour roll glides smoothly, inside are cubicles and tiny drawers for papers plus ink stains for a little character. Pulls are solid brass.
Measurements are 42" wide, 22" deep, 45" tall and the desk top is 29" high.
There is a concave door below with ledger files, the lock does not work so the key is a handle only. Pulls are solid brass.
