Ansonia Cobalt China Case 1882 Antique Clock
Signed by one of America's finest clockmakers, "Ansonia of NY," this cobalt blue china case clock has a June 1882 patent.
The case is signed "Welcome," we see no damage to the hand painted china except for a hairline shrinkage crack at the latch pin for the rear cover, see photo.
A brass 8 day movement has been professionally cleaned and oiled, it keeps excellent time and strikes the hour and half. The beveled glass and porcelain dial are original.
Measurements of this antique American clock are 11" wide, 5" deep and 11" tall.
