Signed by famous maker, "Ansonia of NY," an 1880 era Victorian clock was carved of solid walnut. The case has a very fine finish and a classical face.
Professionally cleaned and oiled, the brass movement runs a week on a winding and counts the hour on a gong. There is an alarm feature as well. An elaborate pendulum has a slow/fast adjustment.
The original dial has discoloration from age for antique character, surrounded by a cast brass bezel. Original wavy glass in the door has fine gold decoration. 15" wide x 6" deep x 23 1/2' in height
