Signed "Atlas Instruments," a complete surveyor's transit instrument, case and tripod were tested for service on Sept. 7, 1931.
This transit appears to be complete and in working order, but we have no surveyor on staff and cannot guarantee this. The finish and paint show wear from use on this intriguing apparatus.
Made in Japan, the locking finger dovetailed mahogany case measures 9" wide, 7" deep and 13" tall.
The telescoping tripod adjusts from 3' to 5' tall.
