Solid hard maple, a butcher's chopping block is about 60 years old, and signed "Bally Block, Bally, Pennsylvania." The top is dovetailed together, and the finish is very good. Nice as a kitchen island or for serving wine and cheese, it could also be used for plants.
Measurements of this vintage block are 24" x 18" and 31" tall.
