Baroque Carved Cherry Vintage Chest or Dresser, Hand Painted & Signed Montalbano

This grand Baroque style wide triple chest or dresser is "bombe" or convex shaped. Signature stamps read "Made in USA, Solid Hardwood from the USA, Montalbano Majestic."

Carved of cherry with hand painting and dark gold accents, this vintage furniture dates from 1989. The renewed finish preserves "distressing" to look antique. The painting is signed, "W. Baeckelandt." We have been told that the artist, Werner Baeckelandt, is still painting at the age of 82. Drawers have original pulls and solid cherry sides.

Measurements are 80" wide, 24" deep and 33" tall.
