Berkey & Gay 1920 Bedroom Set, Twin Beds, Nightstand & Armoire, Hand Painted

Signed by famous maker, "Berkey & Gay," this 1920 era bedroom set includes a pair of single beds, nightstand and armoire or chifferobe. All four pieces have delicate original hand painting. Walnut with matched burl, the finish is in excellent condition with minor mars at the the edges, see photos. There are various restorations and touchups. Dovetailed drawers have original brasses.

Beds include an upholstered platform or "bunky board" to use instead of a spring unit with a standard modern twin or single size mattress (not included) to keep from covering too much of the headboard. Measurements are 80" long, 42" wide, the headboard is 48" tall and the footboard is 27" high.

Chifferobe or armoire dimension are 35" wide, 22" deep and 55" tall. The nightstand is 17" wide, 14" deep and 29" high.
