Birdseye Maple Art Deco Armoire or Wardrobe

Stunning Art Deco furniture from the 1930's, this armoire or wardrobe is shimmering birdseye maple. The satiny finish is excellent, enhancing the intricate book-matched golden grain.

A brass signature plate is signed "Casa Moderna, Genova" or Genoa, Italy. Bakelite pulls and piano hinges are original, there is an interior drawer.

This armoire could be fitted with shelves or a closet pole as desired. There are charming irregularities and shrinkage separations, see photos.

Measurements of this antique are 49" wide, 22" deep, and 6' tall. Matching pieces are sold separately.
