Country French Oak 1900 Antique Double Size 4 Pc. Bedroom Set, Marble Tops
Genuine Country French furniture from about 1900, this hand carved four piece double size bedroom set includes a double size bed, two marble top nightstands and a marble top chest, dresser or commode.
Solid fine grained oak has an original finish in extremely fine condition. Waxed and buffed, all that is needed to maintain the warm patina is an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth.
Shaped and raised panels are beautiful, embossed brass hardware is original on this historic set from France.
The bed fits a standard modern double size mattress and spring unit, the demonstrator set in photos is 19" thick together. Wood slats underneath are included. Measurements are 83" long, 62" wide, the headboard is 55" high and the footboard is 37" tall.
The marble top chest, dresser or commode has an original triple shaped and beveled mirror. Measurements are 45 1/2" wide, 20" deep, 69" tall and the marble top is 33" high.
A true right and left pair of nightstands are finished all around and measure 16" square and 30 1/2" tall. Marble tops are undamaged on this gracefully shaped suite.
