Country French Pine Antique 1770 Provincial Cupboard

A wonderfully worn and well used antique, this Country French or Provincial pine pantry cupboard was hand-crafted about 1770. Hand hewn, secured with wooden pegs, this rustic antique furniture is very usable.

It has loads of character, wear, shrinkage separations, stains, and repairs as would be expected. The finish is very fine with very warm color and patina. Working locks and keys are old but not original, lift off wrought iron hinges are original. Inside, the shelves, lower back and hand-dovetailed drawer sides have been rebuilt over the years.

Originally used for food and crockery, it could have many uses. Size of this historic and picturesque French cabinet are 3'9" wide, 22" deep and 6'5" tall.
