Country Pine Firkin or Sugar Bucket
A genuine antique "firkin" or sugar bucket is pine with ash and iron binding, and dates from the mid 1800's.
Square nailheads are visible and the finish is very fine with nice patina - stains and wear. The lid is original, sides are curved staves as in a barrel.
Measurements of this nostalgic American charmer are 16" diameter and 14" tall excluding the handle.
