Craftsman 1940's Surveyor Transit, Mahogany Case
Signed "Craftsman," this 1940's surveyor's transit has an original dovetailed mahogany case. Brass and iron with a bubble level, there are numerous adjustments on this scientific instrument.
There is not a clear view through the scope, so it probably doesn't work, but we have no surveyor to ask to be certain. This is probably for decoration only.
The finish on the case is worn, and it is 13" long, 5" deep and 7" tall. Length of the scope is almost 12" overall.
