A classic Empire period small dropleaf table from about 1835 has a solid mahogany top, the pedestal and drawers are matched flame grain.
The glowing finish is in excellent condition on this American made antique furniture. There is a tiny shrinkage separation from age in the richly figured one board top plus losses around the hinges, see photos. Drawers have hand cut dovetail joints and chamfered bottoms.
Measurements with drop leaves down are 19" square and 29" tall, with both leaves raised, width is 37 1/2" overall.
