Empire 1840's Antique Bookcase, Glass Doors

This Empire 1840's Empire period bookcase has a base from the same era that is not original. Flame grain mahogany and cherry, this American made antique furniture has an excellent deep finish with warm antique patina.

A mahogany top has been attached to the crown. Square nails are visible and hidden underneath the base are original wheels. Interior shelves adjust on wooden supports, and the door lock and key still work.

Dimensions are 47" wide, 16" deep and 58" tall.
