Empire Paw 1890 Foot Sewing or End Table, Nightstand
A classic American Empire design two drawer table from about 1890 may have been a sewing stand, lamp table or nightstand.
Solid mahogany, the satiny finish is in excellent condition, the back is finished as well. The acanthus carved pedestal has four lion paw feet. Drawers are dovetailed and have original brass and cut glass pulls. The top of this antique furniture is inlaid with delicate stringing, there are Ionic columns on the front.
Size is 23" wide, 17" deep and 27" tall.
