Signed by famous maker, "Estey of Brattleboro, Vt," this 1915 era pump reed organ has a upright piano shaped case.
In beautiful playing condition, bellows have been restored and the sound lasts long after one stops pumping. All notes played when we tried them, there are upper and lower register levers for extra volume.
The original finish on mahogany has the usual crazing or crackled finish from age. Waxed and polished, only an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth is needed to maintain its warm luster.
Size is 59" wide, 26" deep and 54 1/2" tall. A similar bench has a tilting seat, music storage inside with a birdseye maple bottom.
Size is 36" long, 15" deep and 20 1/2" tall.
