French Bombe Bedroom Set, 2 Twin Bed & Nightstand, Bronze Mounts
A magnificent French 1910 era 3 piece bedroom set includes two twin size bed and a nightstand, carved of matched walnut burl in "bombe" or convex design.
Lavish cast bronze mounts and hardware are original on this sophisticated furniture. The satiny finish is in excellent condition with minor mars and touchups, see photos.
Beds bolt securely together and fit a standard twin or single mattress and innerspring as shown. The marble lined nightstand has a curved drawer with dovetailed joints and solid mahogany sides, even the back is curved and finished.
Nightstand size is 18" x 18" and 32" tall, beds measure 46" wide, 84" long, headboards are 63" tall and footboards are 36" high.
