Hepplewhite Period 1780 Flip Top Candle Stand Tilt Top Table, Cherry & Birch

A gracefully curved small candle stand or tilt top table was hand carved about 1780 during the Hepplewhite period. The delicate pedestal is cherry, the one-board top is birch with an original wrought iron catch.

The restored finish is in very fine condition on this American made antique furniture, said to be from Connecticut. There have been various restorations over the centuries on this sturdy little table.

Size is 21" x 14" and 28 1/2" tall.
