Japanese Tansu Chest, Hand Crafted 1900 Antique, Iron Stand
An understated "Tansu" or Japanese chest was beautifully hand crafted of ash and wormy fruitwood with hand cut dovetail joints and carved wooden pegs instead of nails.
Wrought iron hardware is original on this Asian antique furniture from about 1900. The custom made iron base is later.
Size is 24" wide, 12" deep and 23" tall overall.
