This statue of Joan of Arc wearing armor, has her hands clasped on the hilt of her sword. A consummate work of art in solid bronze, is signed "Ruffony," a noted Italian sculptor who worked in France and created many statues - Joan of Arc was a favorite of his.
This work of art dates from about 1900, the base is onyx with slight roughness at the edges. We see no repairs or damage, the deep patina is sublime on this antique figure, 9" tall.
