This authentic antique 4 stack "lawyer's" bookcase is oak with a leaded glass window in the top door. Signed "Viking," each section has original wavy glass and a brass knob.
The warm brown finish is excellent, the top and base with drawer are also separate pieces. Interiors include golden birdseye maple, and have some wear and stains from sliding books in and out.
Furniture from the very early 1900's, the top section holds books up to 8 1/2" deep and 9 1/2" high, the next is 8 1/2" deep and 10 1/2" tall, the third is 8 1/2" deep and 12" high, the lower is 10" deep and 12" high. Overall dimensions are 34" wide, 13" deep and 5'3" tall.
