Oak 1910 Antique Icebox, Signed WIckes by Brunswick Balke Collender
This solid oak icebox from about 1900 is not our modern idea of a refrigerator, but is signed, "Wickes Refrigerator, The Brunswick Balke Collender Co.," the Chicago company famous for their pool tables.
Solid brass hardware, name plate and the tin and enamel interior are all original. American made pantry furniture, the restored finish is in excellent condition. The bottom piece is hinged to access a pan for ice drips.
Measurements are 36" wide, 22" deep and 48" tall.
