An antique cheval or dressing mirror has carved claw feet and was beautifully crafted about 1900. The deep brown finish is excellent.
The original plate glass mirror has enough warm "smoke" to show its age - see photos, and it could be resilvered or replaced if desired. The mirror swivels or tilts in the frame, and is signed with a brass plate on the back, "Emery, Bird, Thayer, Kansas City, MO." Size of this solid furniture is 28" wide, 25" deep and 5'9" tall.
