A traditional solid brass "samovar," or hot water tea kettle has numerous Cyrillic inscriptions, signatures and stamps in Russian up to 1908, plus a tray.
There are wood handles and a lid. Hot coals from a fireplace were placed in the central chimney to boil water for tea. The interior has a tin wash.
Measurements of the tray are 19" x 14" and overall height is 20."
