Silverplate & Cobalt Blue Enamel Antique Jewelry Box, Russian? #31684

An exquisite silverplate and cobalt blue enamel jewel box from about 1900 was said to be Russian, but there is no proof or stamp to be found. This work of art has exceptional workmanship.

The silver has minor scratches and dings and is worn down to the copper in places and there are tiny enamel losses to the edges, see photos. The interior is velvet on this antique footed box.

Size is 5 1/2" x 3" and 3" tall.
