Swedish Country Oak 1820 Antique Chest

Hand made of solid oak in Sweden about 1820, this country chest of drawers has wonderful antique character - stains, mars and wear.

The old finish is very good, hand cut nails and dovetails are visible on the outside and on the drawer sides. There are shrinkage separations due to age.

This antique furniture reflects Empire design of the period. Feet and drawer slides are restored, keys are handles only, they do not operate the locks.

Measurements are 33" wide, 19" deep and 30" tall.
