Victorian Adjustable Piano Duet Bench

This remarkable piano bench was created for duets of unequally sized pianists, the right and left seats have separate height adjustment.

The original ebony finish has some wear and great patina on this Victorian antique furniture from about 1900.

Slightly sculpted, the seats are raised and lowered with a lever from 17 1/2" to 22 1/2" tall.

The mechanism is embossed with the signature "Beethoven DRWZ," and sold by piano dealer "F. Chiappo, Torino," or Turin, in northern Italy.

Strong and usable antique furniture, overall dimensions are 41" wide, 15" deep and 25" high including the arms.
