Victorian Antique 1860 Walnut Armoire, Closet or Wardrobe #28644
Carved of solid walnut about 1860 during the Victorian period, this monumental armoire, wardrobe or closet has a three dimensional crest.
The restored finish is in excellent condition on this American made antique furniture, preserving a few holes and mars at the edges for a little character. On both ends are small shrinkage separations from age. There is a key for the doors only. Drawers and the case have hand cut dovetail joints.
Inside are later shelves that are removable. Interior depth is 17" so a closet pole could be installed if desired. This historic piece disassembles for easier delivery.
Measurements are 63" wide tip to tip, 24" deep and 8' tall.
