An authentic late Victorian or Eastlake shelf clock is signed by famous maker, "Waterbury of Connecticut." Carved of solid walnut with characteristic incised carving, the 8 day brass movement is an excellent runner.
There is an alarm mechanism, and the original pendulum has a "slow/fast" adjustment, it is engraved "Pat. Dec. 11, 1883." The case has an excellent finish, and the wavy glass in the door is original.
Size of this nostalgic antique is 11 1/2" wide, 4" deep and 18" tall.
