An authentic Victorian oak high chair flips down into a "walker" position. This American child's furniture has a "press-back" carved design characteristic of the period, about 1900.
There is a leather strap that secures the feeding tray and original iron wheels. The golden brown finish is in very good condition on solid oak, and the cane seat is excellent.
In the upright or high chair position, dimensions are 17" wide, 21" deep and 41" tall. When the lever is pushed, the chair drops to a lower walker position, and size is 17" wide, 38" deep and 29" tall.
