This famous Edison phonograph or wind-up record player dates from about 1915. The quarter sawn oak case has an excellent deep brown finish. Inside the lid is the "Edison" signature in gold.
This machine plays very well, there is a lever to "cue" the record, and it has an automatic shut off. There are speed and volume adjustments, a few Edison records are included. This is an Edison Diamond Disc phonograph- model A-100 - sold for $100 in 1915.
This American antique furniture measures 18" wide excluding the removable crank, 21" deep and 42" tall.
