A magnificent oval dining table was beautifully crafted in France in the 1940's, and is all original. Cast bronze mounts are intact on this palatial vintage furniture. Under the table is a signature by the maker, "Ehalt of Fegersheim near Strasbourg," see photo.
The inlaid marquetry with tulipwood, rosewood and mahogany is beautiful. There are only very minor scratches to the glossy finish, see photos. Original draw or pull out leaves are at each end, they have an unmatched finish and were intended to be covered by a tablecloth.
Measurements when closed are 42" wide, 6' long, 29 1/2" tall and legroom is 25" underneath, with both leaves extended, length is 8'10" overall.
