Hand carved in England, this early 1900's armoire, wardrobe or closet has beveled arched mirrors in both doors. The original finish on fruitwood is very well preserved, it has been waxed and buffed so all that is needed to maintain its warm patina is an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth.
There are warps, mars and shrinkage separations from age for character. Mirrors have a little antique "smoke" to show their age. Hardware is original, there are no keys, modern magnetic catches secure the doors. Inside are original clothes hooks, sides were later lined with cedar to protect from insects.
This historic furniture can be disassembled for easier moving.
Shelves or a closet pole could be installed if desired, depth is 14 1/2" inside. Dimensions are 44" wide, 18" deep and 78" tall.
