An interesting library table or writing desk from about 1900 in the Arts and Crafts period has carving in the Art Nouveau manner, blending the two styles.
Solid quarter sawn oak, the top is over 1" thick and the deep finish is in excellent condition. A center drawer has dovetailed joints and original hammered coppery patinated hardware. Both sides have bookshelves on this American made antique furniture. There are various shrinkage separations from age, see photos.
Size is 42" wide, 28" deep, 30" tall and the knee hole is 26" wide and 23 1/2" high.
