An interesting 22 drawer file cabinet from around 1890 has a worn painted pine outer case, the drawer fronts and dividers are oak. The finish is in very fine condition, preserving just enough wear and mars for antique character.
Six large lower drawers have original ring pulls. Sixteen upper drawers have tin sides and there are shadows and holes from original pulls that were replaced with label holders, they would be mostly covered by labels. Barely visible are stenciled labels on the drawers, "North British," etc.
Interior size is 11 1/2" wide, 13" deep and 3" tall. Pasted into a drawer is an interesting list of their insurance company restrictions from 1906, see photos.
Size of this American made office furniture is 36" wide at the crown, 31" wide in the body, 19" deep and 6' 1 1/2" tall.
