A swivel desk armchair from about 1900 is solid oak with an excellent finish. The cast iron swivel mechanism is tight and rugged with adjustable height and tilt, signed "F. Herhold & Sons, Chicago."
Ball bearing wheels are modern replacements on this American made antique library or office furniture. Curved arms, the sculpted seat and eight curved lumbar spindles are comfortable. This chair has been reglued to be durable for another generation.
Measurements are 23" wide, 21" deep and 44" tall, seat height is 19" as shown, adjustable up and down.
