Scandinavian 1860's Antique Baby Cradle, Grain Painted

Hand crafted in Scandinavia around 1860, this country pine baby cradle has a hood to keep drafts away.

The old grain painted finish has been preserved with a clear satin varnish. Wooden pegs, square nails and hand planing marks are visible on this nostalgic antique furniture. One runner is restored, corner joints have hand cut dovetails.

Measurements are 24" wide, 39" long and 25" tall.
