This wonderful "Morris" chair is an early 1900 version of the recliner, a solid quarter sawn oak armchair with carved lion paw feet.
The deep finish is in excellent condition on the strong frame, reglued to serve another generation. American made antique furniture, there are 5 reclining positions, adjusted with a rod and iron holders behind the back.
Two zippered cushions are upholstered in supple leather, with just enough wear for a little antique character.
Size when upright is 30" wide, 40" deep, 40" tall and the seat is 18" high.
