A superior quality solid quarter sawn oak roll top desk with raised panels dates from about 1900. The "S" shaped roll glides smoothly and has a working lock.
The deep rich finish is in excellent condition on this American made antique library or office furniture. Inside are various compartments and drawers plus pen and letter holders. Deep lower drawers have dovetailed joints and carved pulls, there is a file drawer. The upper section is removable for easier delivery.
Measurements are 50" wide, 32" deep, 50" tall, the desktop is 30 1/2" high and the knee hole is 21" wide and 25" high.
