From the Arts and Crafts or Mission Oak period about 1910, this roll top desk was made for the "Jefferson Lodge" in central Wisconsin.
Solid quarter sawn oak has an excellent satiny finish on this American made antique Craftsman furniture. Deep drawers have dovetailed joints, there is a file drawer plus two pull out shelves. The roll top glides smoothly, there are small losses at the edges of the slats.
A working brass lock is signed "Eagle." Inside are cubicles and drawers plus pull out pen holders.
Measurements are 54 1/2" wide, 33" deep, 40" tall, the desktop is 30" high and the kneehole is 20" wide and 25" high.
