A wonderful French Art Deco period bronze sculpture of a young woman seated with her dog is signed, "L. Riche, '26."
This work of art is beautifully textured, the original deep green patina is in extremely fine condition. The marble base is original on this 1926 statue from France.
Sculptor Louis Riche lived 1877-1949, and was born, worked and died in Paris. His first exhibition took place in 1896 when he was only 19 in Paris. His works are widely collected and displayed in museums across Europe.
Measurements are 23" long, 10" wide and 16" tall including the base.
