Very well made in the 1920's, this set of 6 dining chairs recalls English Tudor design. The walnut frames are very solid, stretchers underneath are decorative and add strength.
Newly padded and upholstered in luscious rich fabric, frames have a very fine finish.
These chairs have been expertly re- glued for strength and durability, the joints are tight and solid. Chairs are the hardest used of all furniture, they need more gluing, tightening and restoration than another household furnishing.
Our skilled woodworkers have checked for problems, disassembled, removed old glue, applied fresh glue and clamped these chairs to give them another generation of service. The price of our chairs includes restoration, and they are ready to use - durable and usable for modern lifestyles.
These are large and comfortable antique chairs, measurements of the two armchairs are 26" wide, 26" deep, 45" tall and the four side chairs are 22" wide, 25" deep, 41" tall and seats are 20" high.
These chairs have been newly photographed and relisted.
